Ah, spring! The time of year you shed your winter coats, flowers begin to bud, and people emerge from their homes after winter “hibernation”. It’s the time of year where people start to understand and appreciate the beauty this world has to offer. I ask that you go outside (even if you are in the cold, snowy east coast) and see the miraculous things of nature.
Spring is the season of new growth and life. Like nature, we are made to shed the old, useless parts of ourselves and start fresh. I’m not talking about the physical but rather the mental, spiritual, and emotional. Spring is the time of pain and of joy. Pain because we must purge the bad and joy because we get to start anew. So let’s get rid of the stuff that damages and replace it with things that are wholesome.
“Baby you were born to bloom!”
